Working With NextGENe AutoRun Pre-Built Templates
A NextGENe AutoRun template is a file that serves as a starting point for a new job in the NextGENe AutoRun tool. The following pre-built AutoRun templates are supplied with your NextGENe installation:
• RainDance Thunderbolts Cancer panels
• RainDance Thunderbolts Myeloid panels
• NEBNext Cancer Direct panels
All the pre-built templates include SoftGenetics’s recommended settings for Whole Genome Alignment of samples from these panels. Unlike other NextGENe AutoRun templates, however, none of the pre-built templates specify the reference that is to be used for a project.
You cannot modify any of the settings for a pre-built template. You must use the template as-is. Using a NextGENe AutoRun pre-built template is a two-step process. First, you must
select the sample files and reference. Second, as with all other NextGENe AutoRun templates, you must then
specify the settings for the tool, which includes the job file directory, the time interval for detecting job files, and the maximum number of parallel jobs. To modify a pre-built template, you must save the template with a different name, and then you can
modify any or all the settings as needed.
