To add a model in the NextGENe SAD tool
1. On the menu bar, click Models.
The Models page opens. The page displays all models that have been previously created with any status (Untrained/Untested, Trained/Untested, and so on) for this instance of the NextGENe SAD tool.
2. At the top of the Models page, click New Model.
The Model page opens. From top to bottom, the page displays the following information the new model:
The Breadcrumbs trail for the model, which is Home > Model Name.
The Model Summary Information pane, which includes the date and time that the model was created, the date that the model was last updated, the number of control samples and test samples used to test and train the model, and the model status, for example, Untrained and Untested.
The Model Variables pane, which includes the following information:
The model name formatted as Model-<current day’s date formatted as yyyymmdd>-<n>, where is ‘n” is automatically incremented for each new model that is created for the current day’s date.
The Min Aneuploidy Frequency (also referred to as the Fetal Fraction) value, which has a default value of 0.040.
The Target chromosomes, which have default values of 13, 18, and 21.
The cutoff limits for the NCVs for the target chromosomes.
The Samples pane, which ultimately displays a list of all the control samples, and if applicable, all the test samples, that were used for training and testing the model.
3. Optionally, edit the model name.
