To log in to the Geneticist Assistant customer portal
1. Open a browser of your choice.
2. In the URL field, enter the login URL for your Geneticist Assistant customer portal.

The login URL for the Geneticist Assistant customer portal is set to the following: https://<server name>/samplesub, where <server_name> is the name of your Geneticist Assistant server, for example, localhost.
The Customer Portal Login page opens.
3. Enter your username and password, and then click Submit.

By default, your Geneticist Assistant Administrator account (Geneticist Assistantis designated as a user of the customer portal. The username and password for logging in to the customer portal are identical to the username and password that were specified for the Administrator role. If you are not the Administrator, then you must be specified as a web user. (See Managing Web Users.)
The Customer Portal opens. The Patients and Samples page is the open page. All the patients that are currently saved in your Geneticist Assistant database are listed in the Patients pane on the left side of the page. Any patient/sample combination that has been submitted to the customer portal is displayed in the Samples pane on the right side of the page.
