To analyze samples with the NextGENe SAD tool
1. If required, on the Menu bar, click Analysis to open the Analyses page.
2. At the top of the Analyses page, click New Analysis.
The Analysis page opens. From top to bottom, the page displays the following information for the new analysis:
• The Breadcrumbs trail for the model, which is Home > Analysis Name.
• The date and time that the analysis was created.
• The Analysis Variables pane, which includes the following information:
• The analysis name formatted as Analysis-<current day’s date formatted as yyyymmdd>-<n>, where is ‘n” is automatically incremented for each new analysis that is created for the current day’s date. You can edit this value.
• A Model dropdown list that displays all the available models for analyzing the samples.
• The Samples pane, which ultimately displays a list of all the sample files that were analyzed.
3. Optionally, edit the analysis name.
4. On the Model dropdown list, select the appropriate model for analyzing the samples.
5. Click Edit Samples.
The Load Samples dialog box opens.
6. Do the following in the Load Samples dialog box:
a. Click Add to open the Open dialog box.
b. In the Open dialog box, browse to and select the appropriate sample files.
c. Click Open to load the selected files into the Load Samples dialog box.
The Open dialog box closes. The Load Samples dialog box displays all the sample files that were loaded as well as information about the loaded files (Normal indicator, Undetermined).
7. Do one of the following in the Load Samples dialog box:
