To load and run the projects (Add Report-only jobs)
You can use the Add Report-only jobs option to load Settings files from previously processed projects that are contained in different folders one at a time, or you can load one or more Settings files from previously processed projects that are contained in the same folder in a single step.

*
To load all the Settings files from previously processed projects that are contained in the same folder in a single step, see To load and run the projects (Batch Add Report-only jobs).
1. Do one of the following:
On the NextGENe main menu, click Tools > NextGENe AutoRun.
On the Start menu, select All Programs\SoftGenetics\NextGENe\NG_<Version>\NG_AutoRun.
The NextGENe AutoRun window opens.
2. On the NextGENe AutoRun main menu, click Tool > Job Editor.
The Job Editor dialog box opens.
3. On the main menu, click Edit > Add a Report-only Job.
The Open dialog box opens.

*
See Toolbar for an alternate method for the accessing this option.
4. Do one of the following:
To load previously processed project (.pjt) files one at a time: In the Open dialog box, browse to the appropriate output folder, select the project (*.pjt) file, and then click Open to load the file.
To load multiple previously processed project (.pjt) files that are contained in the same folder in a single step:
a. In the Open dialog box, browse to the lowest-level folder that contains all the necessary project output folders.
For example, NextGENe Data > Haloplex > Converted contains the following output folders: E_Output, F_Output, G_Output, and H_output, so you would select the Converted folder.
b. In the Search field in the Open dialog box, enter *.pjt for the search string.
All the .pjt files that are found in the low-level folder (in this example, the Converted folder) are displayed in the search results.
In this example, the .pjt files that would be displayed are E.pjt, F.pjt, G.pjt, and H.pjt.
c. CTRL-click to select the multiple .pjt files that are to be post-processed, and then click Open to load all the selected files in a single step.
In this example, you could select only one .pjt file, such as E.pjt, or any combination of files, such as E.pjt, G.pjt, and H.pjt, but not F.pjt.
5. Next to the Process and report settings file field, click Load to open a dialog box, and then browse to and select the single Settings file (.ini file) that you created in To create a single post-processing Settings file.

*
You can load multiple projects for post-processing with the same Settings file. In the next step, you can use the Group Jobs option to group the projects into separate jobs. The same Settings file is applied to all the separate job files.
6. Optionally, do any of the following as needed; otherwise, continue to Step 7.
Save the job file.
Add a new job to the job file.
Delete a job.
Duplicate a job.
Group samples into jobs.

*
See Main menu and Toolbar for a detailed discussion about the accessing these options.
7. Click OK.
If you have not saved the job file, then you are prompted to specify a file name and location for the job file and after you save the file, the Job Editor dialog box closes; otherwise, the Job Editor dialog box closes. You have now created the necessary job files.
